Maddie Mo
Madeleine Mo Parsons
Melbourne based emerging artist
Maddie works primarily in oil paint, watercolour and embroidery. Her work focusses on portraits as she is enthralled by the human condition and observing those around her. She has also been commissioned for various public and private murals across Australia.
Embroidery is the backbone of her practice: she sews the contour lines of her subjects into linen to create a textural reminder of sensual pleasures.
Offering an oasis of comfort through textile work: a silky evocation of soothing memories.
